Both the Blackbox^TM Bantam^TM Series two way radios have 16 channels that are full programmable and can be customized according to your need, including PC program frequencies, PL and DPL. The programmable buttons allows for Voice Encryption, Alarm, Whisper Transmit, and High or Low Power as it uses 4 watts and 2 watts power that can be switched interchangeably. It is able to perform scanning and voice channel enunciation. The Blackbox^TM Bantam^TM Series is also equipped with 1500 mAh Lithium Ion Battery that utilizes rapid rate charger.

Bantam VHF Radio

The Blackbox^TM Bantam^TM Series two way radios are narrowband compliant and measures only 2.3” x 3.75” x 1.34” with a weight of 198 grams. The Blackbox HF radio has frequency range of 400 to 470MHz while the Blackbox VHF radio has 136 to 174 MHz.

Tested for its durability, the Blackbox^TM Bantam^TM Series two way radios can stand freezing temperatures of up to -25^o Celsius and heat of up to 55^o Celsius, making it the perfect radio for highly demanding jobs in the fields of construction, mining, military and security, transportation, and manufacturing.
